This is me except that I don't have gorgeous long auburn-colored hair. So maybe I can publish a post but it still seems I'm unable to leave comments on blogs. Although early this morning I was able to leave a few comments but now I can't. This is making me crabby!

After leaving a comment on a different post, I clicked on the "home" button and saw you had posted this. Oh, dear, I'm sorry you're having such trouble!
ReplyDeleteI have felt like this many days! I think there are some Blogger issues going on, someone else said they were unable to leave comments and the follower thing is gone on most blogs too. I hope whatever is going on with you computer gets fixed quickly!

ReplyDeleteDonna, I don't have expert advice, but every time I hit submit with a comment, it always tells me it can't be processed. When I hit submit again, it always goes through the second time, after making me verify one of those nonsense words. Just want to make sure you are trying a second time, if this is what the problem is.

I agree with Msrobins' advice, I, too had a hard time so I had to try again. Do you think this is all bloggers' fault? I'd like to blame somebody. ;)

Oh..poor Donna. I did have one day where I couldn't post comments and my followers were gone, but that's all better now.
ReplyDeleteI've got no expert advice other then to try Blogger Help on your Dashboard. I've posted questions before and gotten answers. I'll poke around and see if I can find anything that might help.
I found this in Blogger Help. It worked for the person who had the original issue with commenting,
ReplyDeleteCheck Settings>Comments and verify 'Show' is active for 'Comments'.
Also, go the Layout>Page Elements and click the 'Edit' link on the
'Blog Posts' page element. Verify the fourth check box down is
checked.

Oh man, I can feel your frustration!! I too, usually have to enter my comment twice before it goes on, but at least it does go on. Maybe Lindalou's suggestion will work. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
ReplyDeleteI think we have all been through that at some point and time...maybe its like a blogspot initiation???? You get through the rough patches without cancelling your account then they stop it! LOL!
ReplyDeleteFYI...I have noticed that a lot of blogs that used to not have "captchas" so now...I would go to leave a comment and the window would open up for me to leave enter in the letters. Example...your has one. I have noticed this on A LOT of blogs that used to not have them....

ReplyDeleteHi Donna, looks nice to wreck the computer some times. I was out of the air for a couple of day too because of computer issues...grrr.. They are wonderful things but if they don't work...makes me have gray hair some times. ;-)

Yes, it is frustrating. I have had problems as well. But it seems if I try a second or third time and type in the nonsense word a couple of time it eventually works. Blessings.
