Between Friends

Between Friends
by Sandra Bell Lundy

Nothing alarming happened today to make me post this. No need to worry, it's just another way for me to remind myself to live in the present. Wisdom is all around us, even in the comics.

  2. We all need to be reminded. Thanks for sharing that comic. After a dreadful parents meeting at the school last night, I needed to hear this.

  3. Oh, this was perfect timing in my world, Donna! Yesterday was such an emotional one, and I was suffering from overtired...I actually brought myself to tears at one point, and I kept telling myself it was just that one day!!! So true...today is devinely wonderful, the pace has slowed, I've had sleep, and the world is sparkling again!!! Thank God! This comic is worth keeping in view...maybe it needs to be on my fridge!!!

  5. I love that Donna -- this is ia new strip for me! We have absolutely terrible "funny papers" here at Ft M. (You can tell how old I am when I use that term.) I miss the good ones and keep forgetting to look at them on line -- I know a couple of sites where you can get them, thanks for the reminder.

  7. It's so difficult to just live in the present isn't it? Being human is both a blessing and a curse. :)

  8. We all need a reminder now and then to enjoy the moment instead of worrying about the future or longing for the past. Thanks for sharing this, Donna.

  12. I've been doing better at living in the present lately, too. I find myself reminding myself from time to time, and being successful at it.

Still, I've been thinking I'd like to fast forward the next couple of weeks for spring to get here sooner.

  13. I have a hard time living in the present. That's why I named my blog Thanks For Today...as a reminder. But I'm still not very good at doing it. It's tough!

Thank you for the visit to my other blog. Greatly appreciated. I have that blog for over a year now. I just thought at first to give it a try having 2 blogs. My post there are mostly for meme only.

Have a nice day and please say hi to P, from all of us.
