  4. Happy birthday to your gorgeous young man there!!! He won't be the same sweet, innocent boy after age 8...I remember from my kids...I will be sad when my grandson gets a few years older...yikes!

Those daffodils really showed their stuff after the snow melted, didn't they??? Wowzers!!!

  5. What a difference 3 days makes! That sure seems like a lot of snow, and everything underneath doesn't look bothered at all.

  10. Happy Birthday to Phillip! Looks like he'll be getting a visit from the Tooth Fairy soon as well--what a cutie:)

Your photos show more than any words could ever express what April means in the Midwest--total unpredictability. Wow, did you get the snow! We've had such beautiful and unusually warm weather this April that I had to think what it was like here on April 8, but then I remembered that it did get down to freezing that night. Fortunately, all we had was a light frost, though. Glad to see all your bulbs are as hardy as promised; they don't seem to have suffered a bit from the unexpected frosting.

  11. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHILLIP!!!! Wow, that snow is crazy. I just can't believe it. The weather here has been wonderful. No snow and highs in the upper 60's. What a amazing start to my favorite season. "Gardening Season". I really enjoyed seeing your early spring flowers. Thanks for sharing them.
