I couldn't resist changing the header photo to a warm, sandy beach scene. The picture was taken by Phillip's mother when they were on vacation a couple weeks ago.
These photos are from yesterday when Phillip was here. He and the two children from next door, Caitlyn and Joe, had fun the old-fashioned way.....they played outside. Lucky, the dog, joined in the fun. When they came in from outside, I made them hot cocoa using Hershey's Cocoa instead of the usual instant Swiss Miss cocoa mix. It was a hit!
Well, I will certainly miss you!! I love the sandy and snowy pictures both. It looks like Phillip always has a such a good time at your house.
ReplyDeleteDonna, I hope you get great things accomplished and know that we'll miss you!

ReplyDeleteMiss you while you're gone I'm sure you'll find some interesting things to do!
I hope your time away goes well ... will look forward to your return.
ReplyDeleteHave a good blogging break. It's good to step away from the computer.
ReplyDeleteOld fashioned playing in the snow still appeals, I'm glad to see.
Hope you like your brief vacation. We are just waiting to hear about all the things you accomplish.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your blog-break! I just love to see pictures of kids having fun the old-fashioned way and that cocoa sounds heavenly.
ReplyDeleteI will miss you too, Donna.I hope you have a good time. Those are lovely photos of Phillip and friends in the snow.Looks like they all enjoyed playing in the snow. I love your new header. I am thinking to change my header too, that's if I can grab the time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit and comments. I really appreciate it.

ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful family photos and memories in the making. Have a nice break and be safe is this bad weather.
ReplyDeleteWhat I wouldn't give to sink my feet in that warm beach sand! And when he got home he had to dig under the snow to reach the sand in the sandbox!
ReplyDeleteI'll miss hearing from & visiting you, but have a good break...we all need those sometimes!
We'll miss you and hope you won't be gone long.
ReplyDeleteThe kids looked like they had a blast. Mine are very disappointed we've had no snow this winter.
i cant wait to see your next post when you come back donna!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY DAYS!
Looks like the kids are having so much fun in the snow--if you are like me, you have more than enough for them to play in:) The sandy beach header, though, is what I'm longing for right now. I've often wondered how much more I could get accomplished if I didn't spend so much time on my computer--I'll be interested in reading about all your activities when you return!
ReplyDeleteFor sure I will miss you like crazy!!! But I wish you a happy time without a computer. Sometimes it can be such a joy. Don't forget about all of us my sweet Donna.
ReplyDeleteHappy times to you and yours.
Hugs Dagmar
We will miss you but I hope you are off doing something fun. Don't know that I'll accomplish all that much while you are gone. Maybe I'll make a card or two.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos for Phillip and friends.
