In case you're wondering, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth but I have been sentenced to 4 weeks of hard leaf raking/blowing. I'll be back to blogging soon.
Just think of the abs you are working out as you rake. You are going to have a six pack when you are done with all those leaves, Donna. :) I was hoping you might have posted a photo of you dressed up in your halloween garb. Rosey
So good to see a post from you and what a cute halloween decoration. Is this at your house? Good luck with the leaf raking. HOpe you have a "light" sentence!
I feel your pain re: the leaves! We have a bunch of tall trees towering around the house and yard...we will have their leaves to deal with for at least 4 wks. And those oaks...they hang on to many of them until new leaves start coming out next spring! Most of them DO end up on the ground though because I've been out there to witness their behavior personally! I finally took some tree photos...I waited all month to take any. Surprisingly, they are still looking bright and colorful. Not in my own yard, though. Most of those are brown. Happy Halloween;-)
You blow away my friend, just not yourself please. I miss you lots and lots. Can't wait for you to be back in here. But I do undstand with a garden you have...Lots of hugs from me to you.
We will start raking leaves very soon. Our trees are still a bit green. We'll shred them for a year's worth of compost. Great pumpkins!! Happy Halloween.
We're still daily working on them here also, Donna ... my beloved old mulberries are still hangin' on and the huge Norway Maple over the patio often waits until Dec :(
What did you ever do to deserve such a sentence? I saw the sidebar on your blog of peole you can't leave comments on...I know you have on mine before, by maybe not every time you try.
Neat pumpkins. Say I have developed the same can't leave comment problem on some blogs. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY. If a solution appears please let me know! Thanks. TB
Leaf raking/blowing seems to have mythic status in North America! If you don't rake, do you get submerged in leaves? I think we're very lazy with our leaves in Scotland.
That is a pretty tough sentence. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI think all my leaves came down over night. With all your property, I can only imagine how many leaves you have.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming over and taking part in my giveaway. It wouldn't have been right without you.
