  1. A sign to take notice of! And I see it can be used anytime - whenever guns are in season!

  2. Oh my, I guess you need to have your gun to protect yourself if you do try to go in there.

  3. I like the shadow of the branch on the sign. Very artistic!
    Keep warm, Donna.
I go hiking in the fall here and try not to wear brown, just in case.

  4. We used to see a sign like this when we lived in S. Illinois and walked at Rend Lake. It's the places where signs are absent that you have to worry about. We usually avoided the woods completely during the various game seasons.

I've been looking through your recent posts and saw Julie's name. She's a very special gal. I'll have to try her bucket idea next year. Where we are living now, there's no way to garden like I used to.

  5. I've gotten into the habit of not being out at all during deer season. Hubby wears orange to do chores. I think this is a very good sign!

  6. Yikes! It's good that they worn you because some people may not no when gun season begin... Or is that just me!

  10. Whoa! Turn around and run the other way!

  11. I would definitely stay out of that park, too!

I keep a close eye on Sophie, our Golden Retriever, this time of year, making sure she doesn't stray out of our yard, though gunshots spook her.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Donna!
