Good Grief!

First day of spring and our deck still looks like this.

First day of spring 2012,
crocuses were blooming.

I'm not much of a garden blogger these days, but not ready to give it up. Will keep plugging along and see if the upcoming growing season motivates me.

"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!"    -Mark Twain

  1. Oh goodness, Donna! I know what you need! Warm air and seeds and plants for starters!!!!! I can't get over all that snow. Soon it will be gone. Love Twain! Beautiful quote by him. So true! Hang in there!

  2. It doesn't feel much like spring here either, but thankfully, we don't have a mound of snow like yours--oh, my! Last year we had temps in the 80's in March; no wonder we're all suffering from spring fever.

  3. You need some sunshine! I love the crocuses from last year and hope this year's are doing well under all that snow! Maybe spring will be all the better for having hoped for it so long.

  5. Yes, it certainly has been the opposite of last March! But I guess the good news is we have all of spring and summer to look forward to! Yay!

  6. It has been a disappointing spring in much of the country! Just hold on tight, it will get there, I swear. It's starting here, finally, so I'll send it north.

  7. Hello Donna, I am so sorry to see you've still got THAT much snow. Hope is't going fast. I thought we had it rough. Ice cold wind from the east - 15C. brrrr. And that on our first spring day. I as you long for warmth, the sun, being outdoors working the garden....but not quite yet. As from this weekend we'll have +10C but rain....well at least the cold wind is gone. yeahaaa.

Have a happy weekend my friend.
    Wonderful hugs Dagmar

  11. There is nothing like the first day of Spring. The weather is just perfect in New York where I live around that time :)

  12. Voice over Internet protocol, or VoIP, has revolutionized the way you can manage your business. VoIP Business Phone Service offers significant advantages over traditional phone service, in that you get many more features at a much lower cost.
